Landeshochschulkasse executes all payments for the Rhineland-Palatinate higher education sector and maintains accounts with Deutsche Bundesbank and Postbank for this purpose. It tracks the balances and changes on these accounts and is responsible for the receipt, administration, and delivery of valuables.

As a student at a university in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, you have been asked to pay your semester fee (or tuition fee, if applicable) to a specific bank account of Landeshochschulkasse Mainz in a timely manner.

Please refer to the documents provided to you by your local student service center and be sure to follow the instructions carefully when making the payment (such as using the correct IBAN and including your student ID number).

For inquiries (including by phone) about whether payments have been received or other questions concerning the payment of social contributions and tuition fees, please contact the student service center at your university. Requests for refunds of semester fees and/or tuition fees (due to exmatriculation, duplicate payment, waiving of enrollment, exemption from fees, etc.) must be submitted directly to the student service center at your university. Should Landeshochschulkasse receive such an application, we can only forward it to your university’s student service center without processing it.
